Early diagnosis can change a life.
High cholesterol is very common in the population. However, in some cases it may be a sign of a rare condition such as lysosomal acid lipase deficiency (LAL‑D).
If you have:
• elevated LDL cholesterol,
• low HDL cholesterol,
• altered liver enzymes,
• and hepatomegaly, fibrosis and/or liver cirrhosis,
