Today, we had the opportunity to attend LAL-D CONNECT: A New Future for LAL-D. Updates in the diagnosis, management, and treatment applied to clinical practice, a conference organized by @alexionpharmaceuticals, where we were able to share with attendees what life is like for a patient with lysosomal acid lipase deficiency: the path to diagnosis, the difficulties of living with a disease that is still little known among healthcare professionals, and the impact on daily life.

We would like to thank Alexion, especially @lauragutierreznicuesa, for the opportunity to give visibility to our testimony and the work of our association, the healthcare professionals for their interest and commitment to the LAL-D community, and @cayorubio and @sarasalisam for collaborating and sharing their valuable experiences.
We are convinced that meetings like this will contribute to more people being diagnosed earlier and receiving the care they need.
